Our events are free to attend. Donations help!
We offer a wide variety of events, including public skill building workshops, discussion groups, debates, film discussions, and more.
Events can be offered in person or online, locally or nationally. The events with [National] in the listing are hosted by National Braver Angels.
Instructions and links to sign up for these free events are in each description.
Events that are at capacity or hosted by private organizations for their members are noted as [Closed] or [Private].

Many people join Braver Angels seeking to engage with other people who have different political perspectives than their own. National Braver Angels events provide a wider variety these perspectives than those that may be in a local community, state, or region.
More offerings of workshops and debates than what the small small team of volunteers in MA can provide.

What are small groups?
What are small groups?
The idea of small groups started in the Summer of 2024 by a Braver Angels member. She was concerned about the upcoming election and wanted to talk with other Braver Angels about current events during that time. She contacted the State Coordinators with the idea. The Sate Coordinators set up a meeting of volunteers around the state to discuss the idea. Two volunteers took the initiative to start small groups in their local community.
These groups are self managed and led. Members of group are committed to building positive relationships with one another by following the Braver Angels Way and committed to regular attendance to their meetings.
While these groups were initially started to get through the 2024 election cycle, both of them continue to meet. Perhaps these groups will evolve into Alliances led by the core members of the small group.
